Stellest™ Lenses – Slowing the Progression of Myopia
Myopia, or short-sightedness, is a common condition in children that causes blurred distance vision. As children grow, their myopia can worsen, often leading to stronger prescriptions and an increased risk of long-term eye health issues. Stellest™ lenses are specially designed to slow the progression of myopia. The lenses act as a shield against eye elongation, offering a proactive way to protect your child’s vision against Myopia progression.
Comprehensive Eye Examination
With our Myopia Control Plan, eye exams and imaging are included.
Peace of Mind with Spare Glasses
Your child will receive two pairs of Stellest™ glasses and a pair of Stellest™ sunglasses, ensuring constant wear.
Future-Proofing
With our Myopia Control Plan, you can enjoy unlimited lens changes, guaranteeing your child always has the correct prescription as their vision evolves.
Accident-Proof
With this plan, you can get up to three replacements included.
How will these lenses help my child’s eyes?
Using innovative lens technology, Stellest™ lenses correct your child’s vision while gently managing the growth of the eye, which is the main factor behind myopia worsening. The lenses feature a clear central zone for sharp, everyday vision and a unique pattern around it that helps control how the eye grows over time. This means your child can see clearly while the lenses work in the background to slow prescription changes.
They are recommended for children aged 6 to 16 who are developing myopia, have an existing myopia diagnosis, or are experiencing its progression.
Slowing myopia progression through consistent wear
Studies show that wearing Stellest™ lenses for at least 12 hours a day can slow myopia progression by up to 67% on average, helping to reduce the need for stronger prescriptions over time. To support this, our Myopia Control Plan includes multiple pairs, spare glasses and prescription sunglasses, ensuring your child can continue wearing their lenses even when one pair is being updated or repaired. This consistency is key to maximising treatment effectiveness and protecting their long-term eye health.
Comfort and safety are also important, particularly for younger children. Stellest™ lenses are lightweight, durable, and impact-resistant. Perfect for everyday wear at school, during sports, or at home. For more active moments, we can recommend alternative options like contact lenses or protective goggles.
Why choose Stellest™ lenses?
The earlier your child begins myopia control, the more effective it can be. Stellest™ lenses are suitable for children as young as six and offer a way to take early action to protect long-term eye health. While the lenses won’t reverse myopia, they can reduce its progression, leading to fewer prescription changes and better visual outcomes into adulthood.
Having spare pairs of glasses is essential, especially for active children. Glasses can easily be lost, damaged, or misplaced, and having a backup pair means your child will never be without clear vision. This is particularly important with myopia management, where consistent wear is key to slowing progression.
Our Myopia Control Plan is £95/month over two years and includes:
- Two pairs of Stellest™ glasses
- One pair of Stellest™ sunglasses
- Up to three replacement pairs, ensuring your child always has a backup.
- Unlimited lens changes, so their prescription is always up to date.
- Full eye care, including exams, biometry scans and imaging, for complete peace of mind.

My experience with Dipple & Conway in Norwich was a very positive one! I initially emailed Phil to explain that I have a recent eye prescription and would like to look at their range of glasses. He more or less encouraged me to pop by the opticians anytime. I visited first thing in the morning where a very friendly lady, Sue, showed me their range of glasses and the options available. Once I picked a pair I liked, Sue was not only very helpful, but good humoured in how I seemingly chose a pricey pair of glasses! A week later, earlier than expected, I visited again to collect my glasses from Sue, which I am very pleased with — was glad to know I could leave my old pair of glasses in her capable hands to be recycled as well. All in all, they have made an unprompted visitor who happened to be browsing their glasses become a longterm customer.

I have had an optician care plan with Dipple & Conway for more than ten years. The Norwich staff have always been friendly and accommodating. Last week I had occasion to take a pair of glasses into them, that I had accidentally damaged, and received the same friendly reception. However, one person in particular went the ‘extra mile’. Maciek Dudkiewicz, deputy group manager and dispensing optician, not only saw me at short notice but effected a repair within 24 hours. Impressive. I really appreciated his courtesy and professionalism together with his technical ability. A credit to the company.

I would like to thank Dipple and Conway for their service over the last 38 years!! They have looked after all the eyes in our family of 5 for that long. In particular they gave us huge support throughout the time of our eldest daughter’s 5 operations from the age of 2 to 10 years old and referred me to the hospital for a macular hole ( now fixed) which I hadn’t even noticed I’d got!! We have really appreciated the efficiency and caring attitude of all the staff and thank them for their expertise and professionalism. We have reluctantly moved to an optician much closer to home but cannot recommend them more highly! Many thanks Stella and Iain Mackenzie

A very professional and extensive test. the service is first class and I am extremely happy with the glasses and the manufacturing. I won't go anywhere else. They are more costly than other well known large discounters but you've only one pair of eyes, so invest in them!!
