Each Cazal frame has up to 50 components holding it together, from enchanting lacquer inlays and elaborate decor on side pieces to precious gemstones.
The designers spend up to 6000 working hours in the development of colours to create shades which reflect the lates trends, and widely differing colour techniques mean that each pair has its own unmistakable look. When the designers put a frame together, there are over 150 different ypes of lenses to choose from which differ in graduation, material, strength base, colour and filter catagory.
Cazal was made famous in the 80s by bands such as Run D.M.C (who favoured the ‘607’), and actors such as Al Pacino and Brad Pitt, and now the brand has enjoyed a revival with its relaunch of 14 vintage styles from 1975-1985.
